Twinity is a recently launched virtual world with avatars that walk around real cities.

Members can chat to other people in the online forum.

The company behind the scheme is Metaversum.

It's chief executive, Jochen Hummel, says using real life locations rather than imaginary worlds enables people to feel as though they have been to a city that exists.
