Tens of thousands of students in England could be out of pocket until Christmas, because of problems with their grants.
Education Maintenance Allowances are paid to teenagers from poorer families, to encourage them to stay on at school.
But the private company handling the system has computer problems and it's estimated 400 thousand students have been caught up in the backlog.
