Months of planning were put into moving the massive load
Motorists faced delays over the weekend as a huge industrial load took to the roads around north Wales.
The box will leave the Air Products plant in Acrefair near Wrexham, heading for Ellesmere Port Dock on Sunday.
The 243-tonne load is 59.1m long, 6.1m wide and 5.55m high was stopping over in Whitchurch, Shropshire, on Saturday.
Air Products regularly moves large industrial loads to the docks in Merseyside ready for export across the world.
The company manufactures plans for months in advance before moving any equipment in order to minimise the disruption on the roads it uses.
A similarly sized piece of equipment was transported along the same route a week ago.
"Movements such as these take months of planning", said the company's commercial manager Geoff Morris before the operation.
"We work closely with the Highways Agency, local authorities and police forces across three counties to ensure the safe and smooth transit of our loads.
"Whilst we appreciate there is some disruption to local roadways during a load movement, we work hard to ensure this is kept to the minimum."
