Teacher denies 'touching' claims

Swansea Crown Court
David Thorley will stand trial at Swansea Crown Court later in the year.

A school head teacher has denied 19 charges of sexual touching during a brief appearance at Swansea Crown Court.

David Thorley, 56, of Carmarthen, will stand trial later this year.

He was granted bail after appearing before Judge Gerald Price for a plea and directions hearing.

Mr Thorley is currently suspended from his position at the school concerned, the court was told.
